Hei! I’ve just created something really fun (and super useful) for you — Lesson 6: Travel With Me.
This lesson is all about helping you feel confident at the airport — in Norwegian. Imagine checking in your bags, going through security, asking where your gate is, or ordering a coffee — and doing all of that using the language you’ve been learning with me.
Sounds exciting, right? It’s the kind of Norwegian you’ll actually use.
Learn These Time Words Today
Let’s start with a quick win — a few Norwegian time words that are easy to learn and super useful when traveling:
i dag – today
i morgen – tomorrow
i går – yesterday
nå – now
snart – soon
senere – later
Try saying them out loud — and see if you can remember what each one means without looking. This is how fluency starts to build.

Question Words & Travel Vocabulary
Useful Travel Phrases
It can be difficult to learn Norwegian, even boring! My mission is to make it fun, inspiring and easy.
Here are a few practical sentences you’ll hear (or use) in real travel situations using question words and verbs:
Når går flyet? – When does the flight leave?
Hvor er utgangen? – Where is the gate?
Har du pass og billett? – Do you have your passport and ticket?
Jeg skal fly til Oslo i morgen. – I’m flying to Oslo tomorrow.
Jeg kom med tog i går. – I came by train yesterday.
Even learning just one or two of these helps you feel more ready — and makes Norwegian feel that little bit more real.

Verbs That Help You Move Through Time
In this lesson, we also take a closer look at how to talk about what you did, what you’re doing, and what you’re going to do — in other words, how to use verbs to describe travel across time.
Let’s take one verb as an example:
å fly – to fly
Jeg flyr til India. – I’m flying to India. (now)
Jeg fløy til India. – I flew to India. (past)
Jeg skal fly til India. – I will fly to India. (future)
It’s not about memorising a hundred verbs — it’s about recognising the patterns and practicing them in small, manageable steps.
Come Learn With Me
Lesson 6 gives you everything you need to talk about travel — clearly, confidently, and in Norwegian. You’ll build your vocabulary, improve your grammar without even noticing, and start to feel how much you’ve actually learned.
