Reading

Sessions: Monday, June 30 and Thursday, July 3

This week’s topic is all about what you enjoy in your free time — whether that’s reading a book, watching a series, listening to music or podcasts, or simply relaxing.
It’s a great way to practice speaking freely, share your favorite things, and maybe even get some new recommendations!

You can prepare by thinking about:

  • Leser du noe akkurat nå? (Are you reading anything right now?)

(Do you have a favorite podcast or something you enjoy listening to?)

(Are you watching a series or movie at the moment?)

(What do you enjoy doing when you have free time?)

(If you don’t read or watch anything — how do you spend your time?)

Gradient Skies

Min perfekte fridag

Sessions: Thursday, July 10

This week's Språkkafé is all about your perfect day off — how you like to start it, what you eat, who you spend it with, and how you relax.

Moving to a new country can be tough — but this week, we’ll keep the conversation light and energising.

You can prepare by thinking about:

  • Hvordan starter du dagen når du har helt fri?
(How do you start the day when you’re completely free?)

  • Hva spiser du til frokost på drømmedagen?
(What do you eat for breakfast on your dream day?)

  • Hvem vil du tilbringe dagen med?
(Who would you spend the day with?)

  • Hva slags vær er perfekt for deg?
(What kind of weather is perfect for you?)

  • Hvordan ser den perfekte kvelden ut?
(What does the perfect evening look like?)

Travelling in America

Drømmedestinasjon

Sessions: Monday, July 14 and Thursday, July 17

What’s your dream trip? Where would you go — and why?

We’ll practise real travel language: how to say where you want to go, what you want to do, and what you hope to experience. It’s all about sharing ideas and practising Norwegian in a safe, fun space.

You can prepare by thinking about

  • Hvor vil du reise neste gang? (Where do you want to travel next?)

  • Hva liker du best – strand, by eller fjell? (Do you prefer beach, city or mountains?)

  • Hva slags mat vil du prøve der? (What kind of food do you want to try there?)

  • Hva gjør deg litt nervøs når du reiser? (What makes you a little nervous when travelling?)

(Is there a place in Norway you still want to visit?)

1:1 Sessions – How It Works

Each session is 60 minutes:

  • 15 min: Life check-in – How is life in Norway?
    How are you feeling?

  • 30 min: Norwegian conversation about real topics (job, workplace, social life)

  • 15 min: Advice, motivation & tips for your life in Norway

You choose what you want to talk about!

So, send me an email to kajsa@norskhub with the topic you want covered.
